Advantage is the largest venture capital corporation in British Columbia.  In 2006, we received the Canadian Venture Capital Association Deal of the Year Award for achieving the highest return on a single investment (23.4X return on our investment in Aspreva Pharmaceuticals) in that year. 

In the three years prior to its redemption (2006, 2007, 2008), our Advantage Life Science Fund I provided the highest 5-year returns of any retail fund in Canada (Source: GlobeFund).

The BC government has provided us with an annual $10 million tax credit allocation.  Since our inception in 2003, we have sold out our entire tax credit allocation every year before the conclusion of tax season, except for 2008 and 2009.
