Advantage Funds Simplifies Offering

Vancouver, September 1, 2004 - BC Advantage Funds (VCC) Ltd. will simplify the offering of its shares on September 7, 2004. As of that date, Advantage will only offer shares of its diversified fund (FundSERV code BCA500), which invests in both its life science and technology funds.

Following our discussions with our financing partners, we decided to simplify our offering to shares of our diversified fund." explained Jim Heppell, CEO and Life Science Fund Manager of Advantage.
