Advantage Portfolio Companies Capture Top Awards at Canadian Financing Forum


Vancouver, January 29, 2008 – BC Advantage Funds (VCC) Ltd. announced today that two of its portfolio companies, NxtGen Emission Controls and Contigo Systems, captured the two highest awards at the 11th Annual Canadian Financing Forum (www.canadait.com) recently held in Vancouver. The two companies were each named “Forum Favourite”, in the Cleantech and IT categories, respectively.

The Canadian Financing Forum features presentations from the most promising private technology companies in Canada. This year’s event showcased 30 companies selected to present to over 70 top tier venture capital firms and angels from across Canada and the US, including some of the most prominent Silicon Valley venture capital funds.
